Oakridge Student Council

Oakridge Student Council — banner

The Oakridge Student Council is the student government of Oakridge College. At a college of roughly six hundred students, the Council is not a distant bureaucracy — it is the table where the student body actually argues its own business, and everyone knows somebody sitting at it.

What the Council does

  • Represents the student body to the college administration — its officers meet with the Dean of Student Affairs and the Student Life and Housing office on everything from dorm policy to dining complaints.
  • Charters and funds student organizations — clubs, squads, and societies apply to the Council for recognition and a slice of the activities budget.
  • Runs campus events — mixers, game-day support alongside Oakridge Cheer, and the traditions that fill the academic year.
  • Speaks in college process — the Council seats a student voice in campus policy discussions and conduct matters before the Oakridge Disciplinary Committee.

Membership

Council seats are elected each academic year by the student body; any enrolled student may stand. Officer roles are decided by the incoming council.

The Council in roleplay

Elections are a standing campus storyline — campaigns, rivalries, and the politics of a very small pond. Joining happens in-character on campus.

OOC / Behind-the-scenes notes

OOC Notes: The Council has no Munibase group yet — if one is created, link its live roster here. Crafters — add current officers, traditions, and election lore as they develop in play.
