Simone Mitchell, born Simone Ashton in 1969, is the eldest child of Martin Avery Ashton and Caroline Ruth Ashton, and the elder sister of Briarmont's mayor, Clarence Ashton II. She took the Mitchell name by marriage, and little else of her life is set down in the town's record.
