A job gives your character a reason to be somewhere, a set of people they see every week, and money to spend. Most businesses in the registry hire residents directly. Some roles run their hiring through a starter quest instead.

Note. New in town? Windjammers, Big Jim's Diner, and Breakwater Brew almost always need hands. They make good first jobs while you find your feet.

Getting paid

Your character's RP$ balance lives in the Wallet along the bottom of the expanded HUD.

  • Tap the balance to refresh it.
  • Tap the wallet icon to transfer RP$ to a player standing near you.

A transfer only goes through if the person receiving it has an active character selected, so if one fails, that is usually why.
