101 - Chief Executive Officer
101.1 PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) has mandated that all sworn officers and dispatchers employed within the State of California shall receive certification by POST within prescribed time periods.
101.1.1 SHERIFF CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Prior to filing for the Office of The Sheriff, any candidate shall at minimum meet the requirements of Government Code § 24004.3.
